Now if we go exploring the dial(s) a little bit more – on top, at 12 o’clock you have the running hours. Minutes are displayed by a large centred hand that also happens to be retrograde. The minutes go from 0 to 60 on the scale that you can see from 8 till 2 o’clock. As soon as the hand hits 60 it jumps back to its initial position. The second face of the Metamorphosis is, as I’ve mentioned before, a chronograph.

You can see the Roman numerals telling hours in classic time switch to arabic, and the date wheel at 6 o’clock switch to a 30 minute counter. The seconds hand also activates when you set of the chrono function, but the coolest part of all is that even if you switch back to classic mode the chronograph still keeps running and recording the time… even after days of wearing!
